FIRST RELEASE OF CONDOMINIUMS IN CANALSIDE A SELLOUT

COLUMBIA, SC (January 2007) – CanalSide celebrated the New Year by-passing the half-way mark with presales in its initial offering. With fifty percent sold, CanalSide prepares to capitalize on the momentum by releasing its next offering of stylish condominiums in the next few weeks.   

“Columbia has really taken to this new concept of downtown living,” said Dan Doyle, Vice President of Development for The Beach Company. “This milestone marks the beginning of a very exciting year for CanalSide.”

Though there are no remaining 2-bedroom condominium units available in the first release, the developer plans to release additional units by the end of the month. These condominium homes will offer a different living option for buyers that include all the stylish amenities currently available, but in a mid-rise building with unobstructed views of the canal and city. One-, two- and three-bedrooms will be offered from the mid $200’s. 
 
The initial release included condominium units from $179,900, townhomes from $399,900 and single family home-sites from $185,000. 

Sitework construction is currently underway, with vertical construction to begin this Spring.
